Welders, masons, mechanics, and refractory installers make up the backbone of Joe Moore & Company. These men are on the front lines, and it's the quality of their work that keeps customers returning. The office staff works to support the men in the field so that the company can serve its customers. Below is a list of the office staff at Joe Moore & Company who will most often be helping you when you have questions, orders, or need jobs scheduled. Carinette Carr, Administrative Professional
Frances Moore, Refractory Division Manager and Safety Director
Frances is from Raleigh and is the middle child of five. She has been with Joe Moore & Company for over
twenty years. She is responsible for managing warehouse inventory and refractory sales. She also manages the
company's safety program. Outside work, Frances enjoys spending time with her four dogs, Leo, Cleo, Thomas,
and Benny. Cleo comes to work with her everyday.
Henry Young, Outside Sales Manager and Assistant Safety Director
Henry has been with Joe Moore and Company since 1976. Originally, he worked in the field, and then he
moved into a sales position in the early 80's. Henry had previously worked for Boiler Repair Company, so he has
nearly 40 years experience with boilers. He also served in the US Army in Vietnam. He is from Rocky Mount.
Joe Forrest Moore, Operations Manager, Sales, and Engineering
Like his father, Joe Forrest has worked for the company since he was a teenager. He started in the shop, then
moved to the field, and is now balances responsibilties in the office and in the field. He has recently assumed the
role of Operations Manager, putting him in charge of the men in the field. Joe Forrest graduated from NCSU in
2005 with a degree in business management with concentration in operations management. Outside work, Joe
Forrest enjoys hunting, going to NCSU basketball and football games, and home improvement.
Kathy Moore, Boiler Division Manager and QCM of Code Welding Program
Kathy has been with Joe Moore & Company for many years. Kathy is responsible for managing the company's
"R" Stamp. Before assuming her current responsibilities, she worked for the company in the field as a
salesperson and job inspector. She has also owned a catering restaraunt and worked at a blues club in
Georgetown, Washington, DC. Her hobby is gardening.
Mark Kelley, Marketing Manager
Mark started with Joe Moore & Company in January 2007 as a laborer in the field. He left the company that
summer to complete his undergraduate degree at NCSU. In January 2008, he returned to the company to help
with marketing and sales management. In May, he graduated from NCSU with a B.A. in History, and he came
on full-time at the company. Mark is engaged to be married in September 2009. Outside work, Mark enjoys
American Civil War history, saltwater fishing, and tinkering with small boat engines.

Miller is Joe Forrest’s one year old German shepherd. Cleo is Frances’ chow. These dogs come to work almost
every day. They first welcome visitors to the office from their run behind the building.
Missy Ward, Finance Controller,
Missy is originally from Campbell, California. She started at Joe Moore in July 2007 as Finance Controller. She
has always been employed as a controller, and she has previously worked for a barbeque grill manufacturer and
an interstate trucking company. Missy spends her time outside of work cooking, gardening, boating, and
volunteering with an animal rescue group. All of Missy’s children have four feet and a tail.
William Fields, Construction Manager, Sales, and Engineering
William started with the company part-time in the warehouse while enrolled at the NCSU Agriculture Institute
in 2000. After graduating with degrees in General Agriculture and Agricultural Business Management, William
worked in the field. A year later, he accepted a full time position with the company. William now oversees the
company’s major construction projects. William and his wife, Laura, have a two year old son, Eli, and live in
Albemarle, NC. Outside work, William enjoys deer and duck hunting, fishing, working with his tractor, and
messing with his animals: two horses, two donkeys, 36 laying hens, and 1 peacock.
