Joe Moore & Company, Inc.

Joe Moore & Company has been awarded an incumbent worker training grant by the North Carolina Department of Commerce, Division of Workforce Development. The funds provided by the grant will pay for professional trainers to teach skills that will enhance Joe Moore & Company's workforce. Training will include customer service, problem solving, and communication modules for all employees in the field, leadership workshops for foremen and superintendent level employees, and stick welding and torch safety for journeyman level employees.

Joe Moore & Company will work with the Capital Area Workforce Development Board on carrying out this project. Training is being provided by Wake Tech, New & Expanding Industries Training and NC State University, Industrial Extension Service.
