Joe Moore & Company is proud to announce that one of its employees, Mark Kelley, of Raleigh, has completed a cross country bicycle ride from Oregon to North Carolina. It took Mark and his friend, Brian, 80 days to ride 4,500 miles from Pacific to Atlantic. He passed through eleven states along the trip, biking across the Rocky Mountain and Appalachian Mountain ranges. They finally finished their trip on October 18th at Topsail Beach, NC. We are also proud that Mark used the trip to raise money for a charity, Outdoor Hams, Inc., a nonprofit public charity benefiting North Carolina schools. Mark and Brian raised well over $4,000 for scholarships and grants for North Carolina students and teachers.
